OMS each year accepts three candidate for a 6-month internship program. We are looking for a mature, team-oriented, creative graduate/post graduate individuals with the ability to work both in a team atmosphere and independently for our internship program. Candidates for the internship should have previous experience in website design/software development with a portfolio illustrating their design, typography and relevant software skills.
Internship Schedule
Mid June to Mid-Dec from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
Learning Objectives
To enhance your web development skills through the daily use of Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Flash as well as your basic HTML and CSS hand coding ability.
To increase experience balancing multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
To increase knowledge of web-development best practices and professional project processes.
To closely work with the Creative Director, refining your skills in designing attractive and professional web pages.
Requirements
Must be able to manage multiple project tasks and assignments.
Must be available to work 40-hours per week.
Must be competent in using the following software programs and languages and knowledgeable about their standard practices: HTML, Microsoft Office, Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Flash.
Must be able to represent yourself in a manner that is professional, positive, and helpful.
Must be able to communicate clearly and be able to effectively communicate and work within a team environment.
